Polystyrene transparent square 24-deepwell microplates with polystyrene lid
- CR1424c- 24-deepwell microplates with a full skirt
- Mainly used for automation purposes where the CR1424cl ridges are an issue
- Recommended culture volume of 3ml
- Sterilised by gamma irradiation
- Pyramid bottom for easy centrifugation of cells (pellet in centre well)
The CR1424c plate is the older version of our present polystyrene 24-deepwell plate (CR1424CL), and has a full skirt. It is mainly used with the Thermofisher Cytomat Selector series and for further automation uses
This plate is also available with a disposable sandwich cover (1.2mm holes) on top as reference CR1424cdc
Other characteristics of the plates:
- Single use (non-autoclavable)
- Square wells of 17x17 mm, 40 mm deep with a pyramid bottom for easy centrifugation
- Volume per well: 11 ml
- Typical shaking conditions: 225 rpm/50 mm, or 300 rpm/25 mm
- Packed in boxes of 8, individually wrapped/sealed in polyethylene foil
- full height: 44mm, and therefore compatible with clamps from the CR1700 series in combination with sandwich covers from the CR12xx series
