Carbon clamp unit for flushing purposes
- CR0021a:- For cultures in MTPs that need a specific gas atmosphere
- Has a gas inlet and gas outlet (for anearobic growth, or for CHO-cell that need 5% CO2)
- Has an EPDM rubber seal (creates a gastight chamber above the sandwich cover)
- Please note that this unit is gastight (also in terms of the connection of the EPDM seal and the stainless steel of the sandwich cover underneath), but gas leakage (horizontally, via the filters of the sandwich covers) will occur; therefore it is necessary that all flushing units (if more than one is used) have an individual gas supply; it is not possible to use them in series (only in parallel).
