The CR2324a is the low evaporation disposable sandwich cover used for 24-deepwell MTPs.
The disposable covers are made from the following layers:
- Hard casing from medical-grade polystyrene
- ePTFE filter with a 0.3 micron pore size laminated at both sides with a polyester/polyamide fabric
- a 3 mm thick seal made from PEVA rubber (a closed cell foam, made from the FDA-approved ingredients polyethylene and vinyl acetate)
