Cryo-replicator press:
The cryo-replicator press (CR1100) is a guiding system for the cryo-replicator and ensures an
accurate vertical movement during the sampling of the frozen glycerol stocks or the transfer of
96 colonies into liquid medium.
The cryo-replicator press is generally used in a sterile laminair flow cabinet
note: the cryo-replicator can be used from free-hand as well. However, application of the cryo-replicator press
is strongly recommended.
The replicator press has place to store two additional cryo-replicators. It is advisable to
work with more than one replicator, since after each sampling, the replicator has to be
sterilised by placing it on a hot plate for 5 minutes. The subsequent cooling down to room
temperature requires 12 minutes.
