Growth Profiler 1152 (new, will be fully market-ready by the end of 2009)
- Shakes up to 1152 microbial cultures (12 MTPs) in microtiter plates (aseptically, kLa values up to 200 h-1, Oxygen-transfer rates up 40 mmol/L. h).
- Shaker unit can be set to regularly stop for 10 secs (e.g. each 20 or 60 minutes): in these 10 seconds the scanners automatically scans the bottom of the 12 microtiter plates
- The image analysis software quantifies the cell density, and produces growth curves for all 1152 strains (see example growth curves at the bottom of this page)
- Biomass concentrations can be quantified up to 20 g dry wt / L (automatically calculated by the software, using a previously prepared calibration curve)
- Compatible with our standard microtiter plates and sandwich covers (that prevent cross-contamination and excessive evaporation)
- Incubator with heater allows temperature control between 20 and 40 degrees Celsius.
- Suitable for bacterial and cell cultures
